Exhibition Information
We are delighted to present an exhibition of limited editions by contemporary artists Graham Cooke and Tim Southall.
Graham Cooke trained in both Fine Art and 3-D Design. He initially worked as a designer in television and theatre before embarking on his career as an artist specialising in painting and printmaking.
Cooke's work is often quirky and has an almost magical quality; he covers a broad spectrum of subject matter from architecture to landscapes and also illusory forms. His images all conspire to play with perspective and dimension by distorting and re-evaluating the whole notion of space and scale on paper or canvas.
Tim Southall was born in Staffordshire; he studied Printmaking at The Royal College of Art and has since travelled and exhibited widely. He currently spends his time working between London, Birmingham and at his home in Spain. Tim is a passionate printmaker creating delicate etchings. His subject matter can vary dramatically: inspiration comes from landscape, architecture and historical events and characters. His work instantly engages the eye with emotive, dramatic and sometimes humorous imagery.
This exhibition is an opportunity to view a wide variety of works by these accomplished artist. Both artists are working on new editions of Bath for our exhibition.
